Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas (Portuguese pronunciation: [luˈiʃ ɐ̃ˈdɾɛ ðɨ ˈpinɐ kɐˈβɾaɫ i ˈviɫɐʒ ˈboɐʃ]; born 17 October 1977), known as André Villas-Boas, is a Portuguese football manager. He is currently the manager of Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG. He spent eight months as manager of Académica, one year as manager of Porto, nine months as manager of Chelsea and a year-and-a-half as manager of Tottenham Hotspur. He led Porto to an undefeated 2010–11 season in the Primeira Liga, winning four trophies and becoming the youngest manager ever to win a European title in the process. He also led Tottenham to their highest points tally ever of 72 points in the Premier League through the 2012–13 season, which also was the highest points for a team to finish outside the top four at the time. He is one of a growing number of top-level managers who have never played football professionally.
